Towards Efficient Work Process via Lean Resolutions

The employees have implemented twelve resolutions through Lean project that has reduced wastage in terms of time, cost and manpower. All these approaches contributed to the reduction of black dot. Prior to Lean, the defect rate was 93 percent due to black dot and was reduced to 28.29 percent after Lean. Lean’s approach also helps DSA employees to understand the effective and productive working methods. All these approaches have led to reduction in wastage at the workplace. DSA Dynamics is confident that all types of improvements that are carried out will continue to bring full benefit to the company and its employees.

Before Lean Management & After Implemented Lean Resolutions

Farmasi Fajr’s employees have implemented eight resolutions in the wholesale supply process and five resolutions in the process of providing GFRs. All Lean resolutions have contributed to the company’s productivity by increasing sales revenues and reducing wastage in terms of time, labour and costs. Prior to Lean, Farmasi Fajr’s average retail sales was RM99, 235. After Lean was executed, the average sales increased to RM108, 896. The average wholesale revenue, meanwhile, rose from RM61, 773 to RM84, 341 after the implementation of Lean.

Maximising Earnings via Lean Implementation
